Personal: Never miss a birthday again!
I did not have many birthdays synced with my calendar, and was kicking myself every time I missed someone important's birthday
The Solution
I programmed an RPA to scrape my friends list off of Facebook and then go to each individual's page and extract their DOB and phone number if available
Once scraped, the information was synced and checked against my current existing contacts to see if I had birthdays/phone #s for patients already. If not, an external database is updated which triggers my cell phone daily to add the bdates and send a "Happy birthday" message (to those individuals if selected)
The Impact
The automation will now automatically set up my phone to send the selected birthdays a simple birthday message with just the click of a button
