Roses aren't red
What's in a name? Would a rose yet still smell as sweet if called by another? —A collection of non-conventional roses—
I've always found a blooming rose to be such a mesmerizing piece of nature's infinite art.
Perhaps it's the Fibonacci sequence creating a golden ratio of fractal petals, maybe it's the sweet smell, maybe it's memories of Beauty and the Beast, but it's something that I find myself returning to often and use as something of a launch pad when experimenting with new techniques or ideas.
